Absolutely phenomenal service from start to finish! From the hors d’oeuvres to the main course, to the dessert, our chefs were both attentive and professional to the guests of our in-home party. The food was fresh and well-prepared, and the chefs did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. Cannot rave enough about this company! Thank y’all so much for this experience!Posted on Google

We had a gluten-free allergy (celiac) and corn allergy in the group. He went above and beyond to ensure the entire meal was allergy friendly for both guests, and it was so amazing!!!! 10/10 recommend.Posted on Google

Blake P4 August 2026What an excellent experience! All of the food was fresh and flavorful. There was no over cooking or seasoning on the shrimp which was nice. The salad course was great and the red snapper on risotto was even better. Honestly it was some of the best risotto texture I have had. Apparently he can drop off meals too if you are just in town visiting. The bread pudding was an awesome texture and flavor as well!Posted on Google
Kristen Lachance14 July 2026Devin is great to work with, and he is magic in the kitchen! We started with the shrimp cocktail and caprese crostini. The shrimp was off the hook, and I might have eaten more than my share. We had a beautiful fresh salad to start but the local fish and shrimp with a lemon butter caper sauce stole the show. The portions were generous. Devin was very accommodating for the non-seafood lovers (poor souls) and the vegetarians in the group. Very professional service and the best part is they cleaned up the kitchen after themselves. Nothing not to love! You will not be sorry.Posted on Google

He created an incredible seafood-focused menu that was absolutely delicious, and every dish was beautifully prepared and presented. Devin and his server were both professional, friendly, and made the entire evening feel effortless and special. Devin took the time to talk to us and get our input into the menu planning and accommodated our dietary restrictions. We enjoyed an interactive meal preparation, with Devin making conversation with us and teaching us about our meal. Devin’s food was delicious, and he used as many local ingredients as possible. Our son wants to be a chef, and Devin got him involved with making the dessert. He had so much fun and said he didn’t want the time with Devin to end! This was a memorable meal and we’re so glad we met Devin. We’d definitely consider this option again when visiting SSI, it was a refreshing change from going to a restaurant. When I think of in-home catering, a roll of bread from Harris Teeter does not meet my expectation. Sadly, that's how our experience with TasteBuds started and it went downhill from there. Our family was is St.Simmons for a milestone birthday celebration and we spent weeks in communication with Kat about our dinner. We were explicit about not wanting a Lowcountry Boil and that we wanted clams - well, we ended up with a Lowcountry Boil with hard boiled eggs, frozen corn, and a total of 2 crab claws. Disappointing. Kat was 40 minutes late, probably because she was at Harris Teeter buying bread - she said no one could make it better. Really? None of our food has flavor - the crab dip was bland and the pear bites were probably from a grocery store, too. We wish we had ordered take-out.Posted on Yelp
