Overview
We take deposits to secure your event and simplify your service experience. No fumbling with payments after your event or dealing with multiple payments in different stages of the process. Your balance is due only after you've enjoyed your experience. We use a third party payment processor and you'll receive an email when your deposit is due and again on the day of your event.
You are welcome to make your payment(s) with cash if you prefer and, of course, gratuities are highly appreciated.
Refunds
- If something changes for you and have to cancel after paying your deposit, up to 10 days before your event we guarantee your refund.
- After that point and prior to your event we offer a 50% refund.
- We will not be able to refund within 48 hours of your event. At this point your chef has not been available for other parties and has already purchased, planned, and prepared for your event including staffing.
- None of the above deals with hurricanes.

- We handle those as best we can and it just depends but, so far, we've been able come up with solutions that worked for everyone involved and usually looks a little like we all take a small hit and some homeless people get fed. This, of course, is when the food has already been purchased.
Late or missing refunds
Please allow 48 to 72 hours for us to initiate your refund. Usually we can make that happen on the same day but certain times of the year can be a little crazy around here so we ask for a bit of leeway.If its been three days and you haven't seen an email from our system, call us. If our system reflects a refund please reach out to your institution.

If you purchased a gift certificate and your friend is not able to take advantage of it, please know you are welcome to a refund. Just give us a shout.
